In today’s world of dealing with things that occupy most of our daily lives, it is not difficult to forget things of the past – people who touched us, events that changed us, and lives that were once part of us. A poem written in 1966 says “Remember where you came from, remember where you have been.” It is through the remembrance of our past that we are made aware of how each of our lives were built and how our characters were formed.

Christmas Greetings From the Front
Aloha from Camp Buehring, Kuwait. I want to wish everyone a Blessed Christmas and Happy New Year. I hope you are all well as I am. It's been about 4 months since I left home and after numerous packing, moving, unpacking, packing, moving, and unpacking again, I'm now at my temporary home here in this great big sandbox. Everything seems routine here, so much that we forget what day it is sometimes. We work twelve hour days so time goes by rather quickly and at least we have one day off- for me it's Sunday. The food at the dining facility is ok, only because it's free and of course they don't have rice of the sticky type. Once in a while we do bring in Filipino food from the city, no pork though I think it's camel, and it doesn't beat home cooking. Winter here is a bit nippy and it did get down to 38 deg. It's also so dusty that when just walking from point A to point B, you get sand in your mouth. Despite the everyday trials and tribulations I go thru it is God that keeps me in check. And I don't want to lose site of him please continue to pray for me, more so in my greatest affliction this year and thus far. I love and miss you all, hope to see you soon. Thank you and God Bless.
Mele Kalikimaka Hauoli Makahiki Hou from the great land of Iraq. I pray that your Christmas and the whole holiday season is full of joy and happiness. It is the time of year to reflect on all the things that God has given each one of us and yes, even during the tough times of 2008, He was still there. As I sit here in my room alone, I can’t help but to stand amazed on how good God has been. 16 years ago to this day, my wife and I got married. Yes, the day after Jesus’ birth. Things are very well here in Iraq. I have joined the praise and worship team at the chapel and play the guitar when I’m not traveling. We have been traveling here in Iraq and I’m thankful for God’s protection. After 71 days of working everyday, I am finally taking my first day-off tomorrow. Hmm, it would be nice to get up early, take a fishing pole, and walk the shores of Ewa Beach. Then go home, pickup the kids and take them somewhere. Wishful thinking :-) There’s really not much to do here – read a book, watch television, exercise, go to the PX, that’s about it. The highlight tomorrow is that I’m cooking rice and eating it with microwaved Spam. In all seriousness, thank you very much for all your prayers and please continue to pray for us as we do the same for you. I love all of you and please, please, please, support your Pastors.

The youth of the church are the hope for the continuity of God’s ministry in this world. As members of the Faithful Stewards Inc., the official youth organization under the International Christ Ministries (ICM) Inc., each youth must display their ardent faithfulness and responsible stewardship.
It is high time to redefine the concept of our church’s youth about their role in the church and in the ministry. Though the Faithful Stewards in the Philippines gather annually for fellowship and camaraderie-building, oftentimes, there was neither tangible output nor significant growth in the ICM’s youth ministry. At the end of each annual gathering, most of the attendees would feel revived, blessed and closer to the Lord… But how long do these feelings last? What do the youth do once they were revived, blessed and closer to the Lord? What are the fruits and end-results of our Annual Youth Camp?.........Read Article
